The Dream: Argan oil is what started us on the path. Co-founder Eric Boesinger came across an online solicitation to launch Kaeline's luxury line of organic skin care in the USA, read about the p
roducts, and was immediately hooked. He convinced his wife Barbara and former wife Jackie that they had to try this amazing organic oil for themselves. They secretly thought he was a little "nutty" (excuse the pun) but soon found he was right. Jackie had a scientific background and checked out the more technical aspects of the argan oil claims. Barbara was a skin care guru who had the expertise to compare it to other type of products on the market. Eric had indeed found a winner and Kaeline awarded Xandra Renouvelle distribution rights. He was on his way to making his dream come alive.
On the Path: With Eric running the operations, pitching Kaeline to spas, salons and the media,
more and more US customers became fans. Organic skin care, especially oils, while widely used in Europe, were not embraced here. That's all beginning to change. The major cosmetic companies have jumped on the natural and organic product bandwagon. Going "green" is now hip and people are actively seeking natural alternatives.
The Unthinkable: 2008 was going to be "The Big Year" for Kaeline and Xandra Renouvelle. The beauty industry was calling argan oil a top beauty trend for 2008. Media had tracked the company down and stories were making their way to the newsstands.
Moving Forward: Barbara and Jackie have resolved not to let the business or Eric's dream meet the same untimely fate. They are 100% committed to making Xandra Renouvelle thrive as one of the only businesses owned and operated by the wife and former wife of the same man. They do this in honor of Eric, who never lost his optimism and possessed great faith. He lives on in his children and those of us who loved him. Our business is dedicated to his memory.The top beauty bloggers were saying wonderful things about Kaeline. But Eric was not going to be able to see his dream become reality, at least from his place here on earth. On January 6, 2008, he was suddenly called Home. He was only 43 and his unexpected death left his loved ones in shock. His three young children are without their beloved Dad; his new wife Barbara is without her soul mate, his business partner and former wife has lost her dear friend and father to their children; Xandra Renouvelle lost its co-founder and president; and Kaeline lost one of its most loyal supporters.
